Ras Tanura Port is an oil port located on the eastern coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, north of the city of Dammam.
It is considered the largest oil port in the world, as it passes through it about (90%) of the Kingdom’s exports of hydrocarbons to global markets, which constitute 20% of the total global hydrocarbons consumption.

High operational capacity
which enables it to receive more than 2,000 giant oil vessels annually, in addition to shipping more than 9 million barrels of hydrocarbons per day, as well as loading and unloading 16 vessels at the same time, while the port's storage capacity reaches more than 50 million barrels.
Capacity of 500 million tons
as it hosts 3 specialized terminals with the latest equipment and 28 berths within the waters of the Arabian Gulf, divided into two areas (Ras Tanura) and (Al-Ju'aymah), where the (Ras Tanura) area includes the southern portage, the northern portage, the artificial island and the portage. Al-Gharbia and the service berth, while the (Al-Ju'aymah) area includes (6) single mooring buoys for loading crude oil and two berths for loading liquefied gas. It also includes the Al-Ju'aymah terminal and another berth for non-commercial services.
Variety of petroleum products
are handled, represented by light, medium, and heavy Arab crude oil, the lightest Arab crude oil, in addition to liquefied butane gas, liquefied propane gas, jet fuel, naphtha, gasoline 95, gasoline 91, diesel, and a number of other fuels.
6.5 Million barrels export capacity
equivalent to 7% of the volume of global demand for oil, while the refining capacity of the Ras Tanura refinery reaches 525 thousand barrels per day, as well as an oil storage yard with a capacity of 33 million barrels, while the port is equipped with 4 artificial islands that can load 6 tankers of 500 thousand tons at the same time.
